Mushroom Ragu from The Gouda Life

This post isn’t intended to give you fashion advise or let you in on what’s new to come for spring, it is simply because a girl’s gotta eat. Like many of you I love good food but rarely have the time or skills to cook a good meal at home. Fortunately I know a girl who is extremely skilled in the kitchen, so a few times a month I turn to The Gouda Life for inspiration. As I mentioned, I lack the “cooking gene”, however when The Gouda Life guides me I seem to be able to pull off these delicious meals.

Last week I conquered Mushroom Ragu (from scratch, by the way). Chopped cremini mushrooms, tomato paste, olive tempanade, fresh oregano, red wine, The Gouda Life on my laptop screen, and VOILA! This meatless pasta dish was delicious, hearty, and easy to make with the proper guidance from Kelly, who obviously has a double dose of this “cooking gene”.
